Exactly 5 years ago, on our wedding date, Sofia was traveling solo in Iceland not knowing what life would bring her. She was planning on going on a hike and asked for a ride from Hvolsvöllur to Skogafoss. Erik was driving to the east of Iceland after camping with his friends when he decided to help a hitchhiker in the rain. Little did we know, that simple act of kindness has now become our favorite story to tell and has shaped us into the people we are now. It still is unbelievable something like this happens in real life. But here we are, wanting to share and celebrate love with you.
